ROYAL BALATON GOLF & YACHT CLUB
The Royal Balaton Golf & Yacht Club brings a new dimension of relaxation to the coast. By converting 300 000m3 soil, creating 30 000m2 water surface and sowing 15 tons of grass seed we are developing the first golf course of the lake. It will be a perfect location for international tournaments - especially because of its unique architecture and exciting fairways it will be a pleasure to play for every golfer.
The Royal Balaton Golf & Yacht Club welcomes its visitors in a pictorial environment. Our Golf course is situated between Balatonudvari and Örvényes, two typical villages for the area, and offers breathtaking views over the lake and the Tihany Peninsula. The course borders the Balaton Uplands National Park and partly qualifies as a natural reserve. It is adorned with forests, reeds and lakes and is adjacent to beautiful vineyards.
Our Driving Range is opened from the beginning of summer 2007. The international championship course opens in spring 2008, waiting with high quality service and a friendly atmosphere for golfers of all skill levels.
The Royal Balaton Golf & Yacht Inc. is planning to build a Wellness-Hotel***** next to the golf course with 70 apartments, as well as immediately in its nearby a yacht club.
Our yacht port, to be built in Balatonudvari-Fövenyes, will have a capacity for 133 boats. The state of the art berths are equipped with running water, electricity, cable television and internet access. The Yacht Club featuring extensive services and 13 apartments will open its doors spring 2009 for all lovers of sailing. |
