GOLF AND WINE  
3 ROUNDS  & 5 NIGHTS IN BUDAPEST

You will enjoy at least 3 days of golfing plus a sampling of Hungary’s extraordinary wine making traditions.  After golfing, you will enjoy wine tasting to different wine regions and wineries around the city before retiring to relax in your hotel in the architecturally stunning heart of Budapest.

The Golf and Wine package includes:

  • 5 nights in Budapest, in centrally located hotel, with a double room and breakfast
  • Airport and golf transfers
  • Green fees for 3 days
  • Thermal Spa usage at Pólus Palace G&CC
  • One dinner with wine tasting at the HillTop Winery in Neszmély
  • One dinner with wine in Budapest at the Bock Bistro
  • Wine tasting and cellar visit in Etyek at Haraszthy Vallejo Winery

Prices are valid only with a minimum of four people and golfing on week days.
Non-golfer rates are also available.


Day 1:
Upon your arrival in Budapest, you will be met by Golf Travel Hungary’s representative.

Day 2:
First you will play at the Tata Old Lake Golf & Country Club, 45 minutes from Budapest, which hosted the first professional women's golf tournament in the East-Central-European region, the OTP Bank Ladies Central European Open in 2004/2005/2006.
After golfing you will visit the Hilltop Winery in Neszmély.  A walking tour of the vineyard, wine tasting, and dinner at the local restaurant end the day’s program.

Day 3:
Today, you will be playing at the Pólus Palace Golf & Country Club in Göd which hosted the Hungarian Open Golf Championship in 2007, and is just 20 minutes from the downtown.
After golf you can enjoy Pólus Palace’s wellness center with a 10-function adventure-pool with thermal water, a steam bath, a Finnish sauna, an infra sauna, and dipping pool.

Day 4: free
Our program includes a dinner at Bock Bistro, at the intimate wine restaurant on the Grand Boulevard, next to the Grand Hotel Royal.
Bock offers red wines from Villány, Hungary’s best red wine region.

Day 5:
This morning, after breakfast, you will play at the Pannonia Golf & Country Club, which is 40 minutes from Budapest and the highest quality golf course in Hungary.  It is a must play course as Pannonia Golf & Country Club won the B.I.D. International Quality award in Gold Category for Customer Satisfaction, Quality, and Business Excellence in 2004.
After playing you will visit Etyek, a small village near the golf course. The Haraszthy Vallejo Winery offers traditional Hungarian white wines with snacks.

Suggestions for your free time in Budapest:
Book a guided city tour, visit one of the Turkish baths, or have a coffee break and enjoy the feeling of the cafés downtown.
