Your excursion begins with a drive to Tata, a small village appr. 45 km from Budapest. The Diana Golf Hotel offers golf package and half board and an exciting course.
Tata Old Lake Golf & Country Club, 45 minutes from Budapest, which hosted the first professional women's golf tournament in the East-Central-European region, the OTP Bank Ladies Central European Open in 2004/2005/2006.
The Old Lake Golf & Country Club Club was established on a hunting estate of Count Eszterházy and it offers a complete golfing experience, a golfing hotel and additional recreacional facilities for all guests. The Old Lake Golf Club is situated between the 'Gerecse' hills and the Old Lake of Tata after which the Club was named. Its 18-hole course is to be found in a beautiful parkland, full of small lakes and streams.
The 40-room Diana Golf Hotel is the result of much reconstruction of 2 of the original buildings of the estate.
This Hotel in which every room is air conditioned, and equipped with mini-bar and has a restaurant, night bar and conference rooms, still retains the atmosphere of its former past, providddding a special millieu.
